* RED HOT & RUMI, a unique music program organized and produced by Paul Heck of the Red Hot Organization took over Stratosphere for three days. * Folk-rock legends AMERICA recorded their new album at Stratosphere with Adam Schlesinger and James Iha producing and John Holbrook engineering. Guest appearances on the record include RYAN ADAMS, NADA SURF, and MY MORNING JACKET.
* Actress GRETCHEN MOL was in studio B singing on a track for the end credits of a new movie she stars in. Andy Chase recorded and produced the song, a cover titled Mr. Loveman.
* FOUNTAINS OF WAYNE's forthcoming album, "Traffic And Weather", was recorded and mixed at Stratosphere Sound. Engineer Geoff Sanoff and mixer John Holbrook worked on the album with the band. The album will be released on Virgin Records in April 2007.

* THE STROKES' ALBERT HAMMOND, JR. spent time in studio B working on tracks for his new solo album. The album has received rave reviews from critics and fans alike.
* HEM mixed their new album "Funnel Cloud" in the A Room. The album is available in stores now.
* STEVE OSBOURNE mixed the new BROOKVILLE album "Life In The Shade" at Stratosphere Sound. The album has since been released on Unfiltered Records.
* CONNER OBERST and BRIGHT EYES spent time in studio A recording new music with producer Mike Mogis, some of which was in collaboration with Jesse Harris for THE HOTTEST STATE.
* Producer Jesse Harris spent time in the studio recording new music for a movie called THE HOTTEST STATE, written and directed by ETHAN HAWKE. Guest appearances included NORAH JONES and WILLIE NELSON.
